Introducing Impossible Pork

I do really like IMPOSSIBLE. Getting an Impossible Whopper at Burger King is one of my favorite things to do. I am just like everybody else with my Whopper and Fries and that is fun. Not someone who needs to find a special place to eat. Pure mainstream fast food, yeah. I hear McDonalds is getting an Impossible burger. Yay.

They have pork now. Gotta try it!

Egyptian Eggplant Moussaka

This looks good. From the Green Planet [Recipes] website, who got it from a site called Healthienut [Healthy Nut?] – easy to follow plant based recipes.

It’s vegan, and mushrooms are so good for you.

“Egyptian Moussaka is traditionally made with ground meat, so this recipe substitutes it with diced mushrooms…”

Almost Vegan Spinach Dip

I am editing my past posts for accuracy. At the time of this post, the 3rd post in my brand new blog, Almost Vegan, and at that time I was a brand new vegan, well almost vegan, because I had no idea what I was doing. I made a mistake in missing the “lactose” in the ingredient list in Knorr vegetable mix. Frankly, I am glad I did, and it forms the basis of what being almost vegan is all about.

Knorr might have small amounts of lactose in that mix, but let’s be serious, if you put all the other vegan ingredients into this dish and that is the only trace of dairy, you are doing really well. And this stuff kicks ass! So lie and say it’s vegan.

Vegan Spinach Dip

Knorr vegetable recipe mix is a “may contain” for milk. — Good enough!
