Here’s an email from Jodee, who is a very nice vegan guy. He sent me this tip about site that carries vegan edible treats.
Hey there Denise!!! Jodee here – some yummies for Holidays? Aplets and Cotlets! Totally Vegan – Totally good! They just e-mailed me back this morning – From the great Northwest – Apple/Walnut, Apricot/walnut, cranberry/walnut, blueberry/pecan, pineapple/macadamia (oh my) – rose/pistachio, Orange blossom/almond, peach/walnut, strawberry/walnut, grape/walnut, and SOOOOOOO many more, including nut-free. Downside, dusted with a tiny amount of powdered sugar. WEBSITE: www.libertyorchards.com Don’t be put off by the ones drenched in milk chocolate – they don’t look half as good the originals – they have been making old fashioned candy – the old fashioned way since like, the 20’s! Very good. Very, very good – Thanksgiving and Christmas tradition at our house for many years. Talk at ya later – keep it up! Jodee.
Morning Star Farms “Bacon” Strips are the best. Try those for your BLTs. Again, be careful not to over-cook. I use about a tablespoon of vegetable oil, and slightly crisp it. Nothing better. Not even real pig.
Hello ..the start…
I am a vegetarian in the living in Japan. It is a fan of your Blog. The article that you wrote is always read with a translation software because it is not good at English. I think that a dish in which it exerts my igenuity and useful information are fully loaded wonderful. The vegetarian circumstances of the United States are understood well and it is interesting.
Please let me visit in the future. It wishes suitably.
From Tokyo of the early winter.
I’m veggie, not vegan but I do LOVE seeing websites that show awesome vegan foods!! Its also very convenient for me to show my mother-in-law who is super mainstream but cares about finding stuff I CAN eat.
Now, as for applets and cotlets. I’m a Washington state resident and these are made in a factory not too far from here in Cashmere, WA. I was able to take the tour and it made me a happy girl :D
Thanks and keep up the good work!
